Hello everyone! I'm a little behind as usual. I just thought I would do a quick post and share another card I created using another image from MiRan Jung. There are a couple of facebook challenges going on and one is a birthday challenge. Here is my birthday card.
The card is a 6x6 side fold base. The digital image is from ArtbyMiran. I printed her on Copic Xpressit paper and colored her with copics. The sentiment is from SSS called Tag Sentiments and is stamped in Lagoon ink from CTMH. The pink is Hollyhock. The patterned papers are from a 6x6 pad I had from Momenta. I threw in a little Buttercup cardstock from CTMH. The leaves were cut using the Curvy Leaves die set from Elizabeth Crafts. The white flowers were punched using a Fiskars punch. The twine is our new extra thick twine from CTMH in Pixie. I used some sequins from my stash for the flowers' centers and that was it.
I will be uploading this card into a few challenges which I will link below. That's it for me today. Thanks for stopping by!

SSS July Card Kit
Hello everyone! I wanted to pop on and share a card I had made from the SSS July card kit. I loved all the nautical themed paper and stamp set that was included in the kit. I wanted to do a quick card but was a little lost on how I wanted to do it. So, I did whatever everyone else does, I surfed Pinterest :) I kept seeing a repeated card sketch used on some darling cards that caught my eye. I finally figured out they were from the Paper Pumpkin kit from Stamping Up. This is my version of that sketch using the SSS monthly card kit.
This is a standard A2 top fold card. I used my Brackets die set from SSS to put the shape on the bottom. The red patterned paper is on the inside of the card. I stamped my little life preserver, colored it, and then fussy cut it. The sentiment is from the stamp set in the kit as well. I added some baker's twine and that was it. Very quick and simple.
I really should have put some dark paper behind the card for this picture. Sorry folks.
That's it for me tonight. I'm going to see what else I can come up with. Thanks for stopping by!

Hedgehogs and Daisies
Hello everyone! I hope everyone has had a good weekend. I have a couple of hedgehogs to share with you tonight. Not literally, of course, but a cute little hedgehog from the Tiddly Inks set, Mini and Many Friends. There are several cute little images in the set.
Both of these cards are 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 with the fold at the top. I know it seems like an odd size, but I have a large supply of 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 envelopes, for some reason. The images in this stamp set are small (hence the "mini" in the name), so it worked out great. I stamped them on some scrap Copic Xpress paper and colored them both with my Copics. It came to my attention rather quickly that I had no idea how to color a hedgehog..lol. So, I gave it my best shot.
All in all I think they turned out to be pretty cute little cards. I will be posting at least one of these little guys on a few challenges, which I will list below.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

For the card above I used the patterned paper from the June SSS monthly card kit along with some White Daisy and Canary cardstock from CTMH. I punched the flowers and butterflies and used the Curvy Leaves die set from Elizabeth Craft. for the leaves. I used the SSS postage stamp die set for inside trim of the frame. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the frame is raised using my new-found love, fun foam.
The card below was assembled the same way. I used Smoothie, Desert Sand, and Canary inks from CTMH to randomly stamp the background with the daisy image from the set. Then I layered up my frame with cardstocks of the same colors. The flower below is layered with punches and die cuts from the Rose Creations die set from Spellbinders.

Marie Mariposa
Hello everyone! I have been on a cardmaking roll here lately. I have also stumbled on some wonderful challenge blogs and facebook groups. One of these is the Artbymiran Facebook progressive challenge. I was so intrigued by the idea, I had to join in. You buy the digi and then use it in this month's challenge. Then next month the next image used for the challenge is free to you. I hope I have that right. Check them out here.
The image for this month is this beautiful butterfly fairy, Marie Mariposa. You know I have a fondness for winged things :) I had to use it immediately.

This is a 6x6 side-fold card base. The papers are from an old SSS monthly card kit. I printed her on Copic Xpress It paper and colored with Copics. After I fussy cut her I used the scraps along with my Rose Creations die set from Spellbinders and cut out the flowers. Using the same Copics, I colored them to match. I used a little butterfly punch and did the same thing for them. The lacy butterflies were made with a Martha Stewart border punch. The sentiment is one I have grown to love lately from Stampendous. I have always loved that saying. I added some pearls from my stash to the flowers and butterflies. And no fairy is complete without some Wink of Stella on her wings so, I coated her up and called her finished.
I really love this image by Mi Ran Jung. You can follow this link to her challenge blog and she has her Etsy address posted there as well. Don't forget to check out her facebook group, too. I'll be posting this card in the progressive challenge and on the challenge blog.
That's it for me tonight. Thanks for stopping by!

Dotty Girlfriends
Hello everyone! Just a quick post from me tonight. I thought I would share a card I made for a friend's upcoming birthday. This Art Impressions stamp set so reminds me of us. This set is from the Girlfriends line and I really love them all.
I stamped these girls in Memento Ink and colored them with my Copics. The patterned paper is from last month's SSS card kit. The colors and patterns are so bright and cheery they just seemed to be fitting. I punched a couple of flowers and threw on a couple of rhinestones and called it good. There were a few mistakes that I had to work around, but all in all it still made me smile. And that's what it's all about. I hope it has the same effect on its recipient.
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is We're Going Dotty. I think this one fits the bill, so I'll be posting it over there.

Gothic Pinup Flora
Happy 4th of July everyone! It's been kind of a rainy, drizzly day here. I hope the rest of you fared better. Rainy days are good for something, though, and that's cardmaking! Tiddly Inks has a Let's Go Gothic challenge going on right now and they are offering this little digi for free. I love their images. I'm not very practiced at the gothic feel. I tend to make things cutesy. Here is my attempt with Flora.
I printed her on Copic Xpress It Blending Card paper. This was my first time printing on this paper and it did fine (I have an antiquated HP Photosmart, on some papers it does ok and some it does not). I colored her with Copics. She's on a 6x6 top fold card base made from CTMH black cardstock. The printed paper for the background is from Gorjuss. The striped paper is the Thistle striped paper from the CTMH fundamentals cardstock collection. I used my dauber and went over it with Gypsy ink and then around the edges with Black. The black leaves I cut using a new die set I have from Elizabeth Crafts called appropriately, Curvy Leaves. I love it. They are the perfect size for most of my leaf making needs. They were a part of my last Blitsy haul and were a great purchase. The roses are Recollections roses from my stash, as is the sparkly organza-like ribbon. The sentiment is from Tiddly Inks, also, just from another set. Last but not least, I made her sparkle a bit. I added some Wink of Stella to her feathers, some bitty rhinestones from CTMH on her hat, in her hair, and on her belt. The black flourish is also from CTMH.
That's it for me tonight. I'll be posting this card in a few challenges, which I will list below. Thanks for stopping by! I wish everyone a happy, safe, and dry Fourth of July!

Wings from the Dollhouse
Hello everyone! Happy full moon Wednesday. I don't know about you guys, but it's been a full moon kind of week. Before anything else can go haywire, I wanted to share a couple more cards I had made this past weekend.
A dear friend of mine entered a contest on facebook where you tag a friend and you both had a chance to win a gift certificate to Little Darlings Rubber Stamps Store. And she won, and so did I! Yippee. Thank you Frankie! Here's one of the stamps I bought with my winnings. She's called Wings and she's a new release from the Dollhouse section of LDRS.
That's it for me tonight. I still have a few more cards to share with you, so check back soon. There are few challenges I am going to post one or both of these cards in. I'll list them below so you can check them out, too.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is a 6x6 top fold card. I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo black and colored her up with my copics. I took my color queues from the paper and used my new hex chart from Sandy Alnock to pick out my colors. It has been a very helpful tool. The papers are from Bo Bunny and the flowers are from my stash. The sentiment is actually from a Tiddly inks stamp set. It's hard to tell from the photo, but I used my Wink of Stella glitter pen to give her wings some extra sparkle. I punched the butterflies out of some paper scraps from the paper pack. The scalloped frame is from Spellbinders die set, Lacy Squares. I used bitty opaques from CTMH for the bodies of my butterflies after I lightly colored them with my Copics.
The card below is on an A2 sized top fold card. Again I took my color queues from my patterned paper and used my hex chart to color her with Copics. The paper is from my stash and probably an old SSS card kit. The sentiment is from a stamp set from Stampendous, called Friendship ( I think, forgive me if I'm wrong :)) I glittered her wings with Wink of Stella also.
That's it for me tonight. I still have a few more cards to share with you, so check back soon. There are few challenges I am going to post one or both of these cards in. I'll list them below so you can check them out, too.
